Farrah loved the water

We are back from our RV experience in Iowa. We left Quitman on June 30 and travelled to Lousiville to for the night. We left Louisville at 6:05 Sunday, July 1 with Grandmother as a passenger and travelled all the way to Kyle's house in Bettendorf, Iowa on Sunday. We arrived around 8:30 p.m. Grandmother chose to stay in the house, but Big Pop and I gained two camper mates - Landon and Laurel. After visiting on Monday and going to see Landon's ball game. Big Pop, Landon, Laurel, and I left Monday evening for Sandy Beach campground near Iowa City. We set up camp and prepared for the rest of the family to join us for the 4th. Norah joined our camping group and we had a great time.
We camped at this site until Monday July 9th, with everyone coming over on Saturday again for another day of playing. Landon and Laurel took a break from camping and went home Saturday night. Grandmother switched grandson's homes and went to Lance's in Cedar Falls after spending the first week with Kyle in Bettendorf. Lance and Norah camped with us on Saturday night and Sunday. Big Pop and I didn't know what to do on Sunday night with no one there.
On Monday, we drove to Davenport and camped at an Interstate RV park and washed clothes all day. We drove in to see Landon's ball game again but it was rained out. Landon and Laurel came back with us and we left early Tuesday for a state park in Cedar Falls near Lance's home. The children attended VBS at First Methodist with Norah and they all came to camp with us. The park was great. We stayed at this site until Friday morning when we left for Wisconsin Dells. All if us travelled in the RV to this resort. It was really something else.
After a very full weekend, Lance went home by himself. Jennifer went to Davenport with her girls to a motel because she had to work there on Monday and Tuesday and the rest went to Kyle and Tina's house. We parked in front of their home until very early Tuesday morning (another Monday ballgame was rained out). We left at 5:00 a.m. for Mississippi. Went by the motel and picked up Norah on her 4th birthday. We made it all the way to Quitman by 9:30 Tuesday night.
Today was spent washing and packing to get ready to move to the Neshoba County Fair. Landon, Laurel, and Norah want me to hurry up and get everything ready so we can go on up there. They are tired of waiting for "the fair".
Forgot to mention that Bobby and I celebrated our 38th anniversary today. Can't think of a better way than playing with three grandchildren and packing for the Neshoba County Fair.
