TRIP TO SEC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Bobby and I along with his mother, two sisters, their husbands, and Tate (the youngest grandchild) travelled to Atlanta for the SEC basketball tournament. We arrived in Atlanta Wednesday evening and began watching basketball games Thursday. It was great fun. I guess everyone knows that during the overtime of the Mississippi State game the tornado hit the Georgia Dome and we were so involved in cheering on the Bulldogs that we didn't even realize what was happening until it was almost over. Thankfully, no one was hurt. We weren't allowed to attend anymore of the games so were took an early exit from Atlanta and returned home Saturday morning. What an experience!!! If anyone ever tells you that a tornado sounds like a freight train! They are correct!
Go Dogs!!!
The fourth game of the day was almost too much for Tate!

Surprise-Surprise- A post from Meme. I forget about doing this, but I am going to try to be better at this. These are some pictures from our Easter trip to Iowa and we are getting ready to go again the last weekend of April. We are going to go to Landon's Grandparent's Day at his school and hopefully to help Kyle and Tina move into their new house. We also hope to be helping Lance and Jen move into something in Mississippi soon. We had snow on Easter in Iowa which was a treat for Big Pop and me, but I don't think the boys and their families thought too much of it. It was really pretty when we were going to church for Easter services with it snowing all around us. We were all together at Lance & Jen's for Easter in Cedar Falls and attended Easter Services at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls and of course the Easter Bunny came to see Landon, Laurel, Norah and Farrah.
